Salary/Rate: £18 – £20/hour

Shift Hours:  7.00am to 5.00pm ( Monday – Friday ) x 1 Welder

We are looking for an Experienced TIG Welder for a Food Manufacturer on behalf of our Engineering Facilities Management client.

Basic Duties: 

• Prepare/cut required shapes and weld according to structure plans
• carry out skilled TIG welding work
• Use grinder to smooth and clean as appropriately prior to and after welding
• Effectively operate welding units and equipment to fabricate, repair and install metal items equipment, appliances etc
• Inspect work and fill/repair as necessary

Candidate Requirements:

• You must be Flexible proactive approach to Work
• Excellent attention to detail
• Must be able to produce work with minimal flaws
• Understands the importance of quality
• Must be conversant in Metal / Steel TIG Welding and qualified
• Own weld mask would be ideal
