Area:                                    North London and up the M40 corridor

About the Role

As a BDM, you will work in conjunction with Facilities Engineering Operations Director and future Sales Director to help implement sales strategy for the business region fostering alignment with corporate goals.

Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Sales and Business Development for the business.
  • Support wider Sales Capability for multi-Discipline Projects
  • Forecasting sales growth and profitability
  • Develop sales pipeline and opportunities
  • Implement and manage operational plans for new accounts as determined
  • Develop third party relations and strategic service partner networks for opportunities
  • Drive continuous improvement throughout the business.
  • Liaise with other Group businesses to develop self-delivery approach and identify other opportunities for Group services
  • Work with the wider company Facilities Engineering team to continually develop and improve opportunities and services.
  • Work together with the group to further develop strong working relationships with identified strategic clients.
  • To target and develop new key customer relationships in conjunction with adi group strengths.
  • To develop and issue contract tenders and bids as required during sales strategy.
  • To support new clients within sales strategy to ensure contract performance and continual growth.

About you

We would like to hear from you if you have:

  • Proven experience as a business development manager or in a similar role selling facilities engineering services, preferably in the industrial sector.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive the sales process from planning to close.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
  • In-depth understanding of market research methods and analysis.
  • Good understanding and knowledge of facilities engineering and the services
  • Availability for frequent travel.
