Our client a well known company of high quality designer and manufacturer of home furnishing are looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their small team at their Adlington depot.
OVERALL OBJECTIVE
As a Warehouse Supervisor, you will supervise a team and are responsible in ensuring the safe and efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of warehouse goods & products to support all Stores and the supply of customer demand. You will support the DC Manager in ensuring the smooth running of the warehouse, as well as supporting all stores by providing a complete and efficient service in accordance with Company guide lines, with particular attention to customer service, stock control, administration,security and housekeeping.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Delivering a culture of exceptional customer service, to enhance sales and service performance
Meeting and complying with customer care and service standards as a minimum requirement, as well as maintaining telephone standards
Directing customers throughout the store or to the specific area the customer requests at all times
Assisting on the floor with team members within the warehouse, as required.
Maintaining housekeeping and health & safety standards within the warehouse
Minimising shrinkage by handling and storing product safely and with care, ensuring shrinkage remains at or below the Company target
Recording and reporting immediately to DC Manager, all incidents of stock loss or damage to merchandise
Accurately pricing and ticketing merchandise, in line with Company guidelines
Assisting with the booking in and receiving of stock as and when required, in line with Company guidelines
Ensuring that all lifting and manoeuvring of product is carried out in accordance with Company’s manual handling procedures
Operate in a safe manner, complying with all health & safety requirements to ensure own and safety of others
Maintaining standard of warehouse at all times
Assisting with the dispatch of stock as and when required, in line with Company guidelines
Completing relevant documentation legibly, correctly and accurately, as required
Assisting with Company stock taking as and when required, in line with Company guidelines
Deputising in manager’s absence, as required

A minmum of 3 to 5 years experience required
