Our Client is the largest manufacturer of Taste & Nutrition technologies and Functional Ingredients and Actives for the global food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries.

They are looking to hire:

M&E Planner

Key Responsibilities

Implementation of asset management best practise. Standardisation and Development of preventive Maintenance Systems. Co-ordination of Shutdown Plans

Development of Engineering PM plans which is agreed by Engineering and Production

Be the single point of accountability for organising and reviewing weekly planning meetings

Support the PPM program, OEE Improvement. Improvement of Equipment availability MTBF

Document and implement project management best practise on site including measurement, reporting, procedures and plans,

Work closely with the Engineering Manager and the Senior Technicians to develop effective systems

Develop and implement Engineering / H & S procedures in support of the site H&S plans. This to include emergency response, permit systems, and contractor control

Engineering Stores Spares Optimisation to ensure high criticality spares available. Develop and document best practise policy, strategy plans and visual KPI’s. including cost reduction, inventory reduction, availability obsolescence. Implement a process of Continuous Improvement.

Management and control of contractors in compliance with group and site work safety procedures. Generate equipment and people performance reports

Support the KPS/KAMS program (or other CI initiatives) through optimised work planning and problem solving

Participate in all business or equipment or personnel emergency response, initiatives or incidents as required.

Compliance with company, legislative, regulatory, customer, environmental, insurance and safety requirements. Ensure all audit non-conformances have been addressed. Co-ordination of site Business Continuity Plans, insurance and legislative requirements

Compliance with all company, legislative, Health & safety and environmental policies and procedures.

To stand in for Engineering manager as required.

Carry out tasks allocated by the Engineering Manager

SPECIFIC SKILLS REQUIRENT

Essential

Education:

Level 3 Qualification in Engineering

NVQ or relevant discipline or Trade Qualified

Computer Literate Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

Min 5 years industrial experience.

Initial Salary will be @ £25K per annum increasing after the probation period.
