Our Client manufacturers of high quality sauces are looking to employ a Fork Lift Driver.
Basic Duties:
Goods in Goods Out
Stock Control
Put away stock
Allocate Stock
Manual Handling
All other usual warehouse duties
Must have Counter Balance and Reach license
Rotating Shift:
Afternoon shift 14.00 pm to 22.00 pm and Night Shift 22.00 pm to 06.00 am.
This is a temp to perm role after the qualifying period.

Steel Fitter / Erector

Our Client has been established over 40 years and carry out the Design, Manufacture, supply & installation of Structural Steel work and Architectural Metalwork. The company is still family owned and managed and continue to deliver quality solutions across the construction and engineering sectors.
Job Title: Steel Erector
Job Description: Skilled Steel Erector / Fitter, able to work from drawings. Fitting stair balustrades, balconies, glass infills etc. Must have CSCS card
Hours: Monday to Friday between (7.00am to 5.00pm)
Rate Of Pay : £14.00 to £16.00 per hour depending on PAYE or LTD

Fork Lift Truck Driver

Our Client is a long established company specialises globally providing Sealing and Packaging solutions to well-known multi-national companies.

We are looking for a Fork Lift Truck Driver to work in goods in and goods out in a busy distribution at our client manufacturing site at Slough Trading Estate.

Basic Duties:

· Loading and off-loading
· general warehouse duties
· palletising and shrink wrapping
· Good House Keeping
· Potentially hand balling products onto pallets
Must have a Counter Balance and Reach Truck licence.

Good experience in a similar environment and operate Fork Lift in a safe manner

Hours of work: Rotating shifts (6.00am to 14.00pm and 13.30pm to 22.00pm) Monday to Friday

Rate of Pay: £8.75 to £9.00 per hour

This is a Temp to Perm Position

Multi Skilled Factory Engineer

From £15 to £18 per hour depends on experience

Our Client is the largest manufacturer of Taste & Nutrition technologies and Functional Ingredients and Actives for the global food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries. They are looking to hire: Multi- Skilled Engineer

Key Responsibilities

· Respond to Breakdowns and carry out PPMs
· Carry out regular inspections and safety checks on equipment, building and services.
· Participate in problem solving activities. Electrical and mechanical process trouble shooting.
· Complete electro-mechanical repairs to high speed food processing, handling and packaging equipment.
· Supply technical support for the plant facilities & services including compressed air, steam, refrigeration and effluent plant.
· All repair requirements including services, buildings and grounds.
· Carry out tasks allocated by the Engineering Manager or Supervisor
· Inform Engineering Manager or Supervisor of any issue that cannot be resolved for more than half an hour
· Keep records
Innovation:

Engage with equipment and new technology to ensure the effective operation of the production and services equipment and the resolution of any problems.

Planning:

· In the event of serious breakdowns, to use the current escalation procedure to notify necessary people.
Manufacturing Support:

· To work with the Process Team on new products and processes ensuring they are planned, implemented and reviewed so as to be seamlessly integrated into current processes.
Technical Training:

· Partake and when relevant deliver technical training to the production team members with the emphasis being one-point lessons on the key pieces of equipment.
Information Management:

· Spare Parts: to log and record the usage of all spare parts.
Feedback all relevant technical information to production members and to other team members where relevant.

Specific Skill Requirement

Education :

Essential

Relevant third level engineering qualification or a time served apprenticeship in a high volume, highly automated manufacturing environment

Desirable

HND or Degree in Engineering

Technical :

Essential

Proven experience in a high volume, highly automated manufacturing environment

Specialisation in electro- mechanical, automation & control.

Computer literate

Excellent written and spoken English

Desirable:

An understanding of the principles and tools of lean manufacturing.

An understanding of all the equipment within the production stream.

PLC experience

This will initially be on a temp to perm position.

Warehouse Operative

Our Client is a specialist glass distributor and installer who are dedicated to Bus, Coach, Rail & Motorhome Applications.

Job Purpose: To safely load and unload the Company’s Distribution van’s and to carry out deliveries as and when required. In addition, the job holder will be required to provide holiday/sickness cover for the Distribution Drivers (Day & Night Shift)

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities

• Undertake warehouse duties if no deliveries have been planned for you at any given time on any given day.

• Accurately locate, identify, pick and load parts onto vans as required

• Ensure you have all glass loaded safely onto works van and all relevant paperwork before setting off on a ‘run’

• Work out the most economical routes and plan delivery runs efficiently

• Ensure all paperwork is completed as per procedure

• Ensure all vehicle safety checks are carried out as per procedure

• Where applicable check emails and ensure most up to date requests are met

• Undertake all training as required by the company

Person Specification:

Knowledge/Experience

• Previous warehouse and driving experience

• Forklift driving

Other Requirements

• Full and valid driving licence

The hours are 41.25 a week Monday to Friday on the following shifts:

07:00 to 16:00, 08:00 to 17:00 and 09.00 to 18.00

You are also required to work every other Saturday from 8:00am to 12:00pm

Van owner driver

We are looking for experienced and hardworking LWB van owner drivers to join our Dynamic Team at the depot in Slough.
You will be delivering parcels for the Private Courier Company, having 70-100 stops a day and being paid £2/stop( at times it’s more than 1 parcel per stop) and delivering parcels in Slough.
You will be working on 1 permanent route every day.
You will be paid weekly but the 1st payment you will receive after 2 weeks of work ( 1 week working in arrears).
You need to be physically fit as parcels are heavy at times and you should have a trolley to help you deliver and have CAN DO ATTITUDE.
You have to have good geographical knowledge in order to work fast and efficiently.
You need to have LWB or XLWB van, courier insurance, goods in transit and public liability.
